About Nicola
Nicola has been a practising osteopath since 2011 and opened Arise Osteopathy in Margaret River in 2019. Driven by a vision for collaborative wellness, she expanded in 2022 to establish Station Health—a communal space for like minded health practitioners.
Her Philosophy
Nicola believes that good health is a daily practice, not a destination. As a health practitioner, her role is to guide, facilitate and educate, ultimately empowering clients towards greater health. She values the wide range of techniques available to osteopaths that enable her to treat a variety of conditions in clients of all ages. She strives to be holistic and consider all factors that affect health. Her goal is to care for the whole person, not just treat the symptom.
Beyond the Clinic
Nicola strives for a steady pace in life. Frequently outdoors bike riding or beaching with her three kids, she loves to unwind with a good non-fiction book or a twinkle on the piano. Most recently, she has been relishing re-connecting with indoor bouldering and is looking forward to more camping trips as her kids get older.

Dr. Andrew Still (surgeon and founder of Osteopathy).
About David
David originally commenced university studies in architecture. He was inspired by how the structure of a well-designed building can influence the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of the people inside it. That same principle applies in Osteopathic Medicine—the structure of the human body shapes how we function and how we feel.
But unlike a building, which is designed with rigid materials to resist change, the human body is:
- Stable, yet fluid and dynamic
- Constantly adapting from moment to moment
- Influenced by Nature’s inherent therapeutic potential
A unique perspective on the body and health
David describes this as an inner blueprint of Health—present from the beginning of life and always within us. For many people, this Health can be obscured over time by tension, rigidity, and dysfunction.
This concept is central to Biodynamic Osteopathy, and remains David’s daily inspiration after more than 25 years in practice. His passion for biodynamics as led to extensive postgraduate training across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.
